At this year’s ParetoHealth Conference at the JW Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Springs, SmithRx created exactly that kind of space.The multi-day conference brought together healthcare professionals, partners, and industry leaders from across the country, but instead of approaching their sponsor activation in a traditional way, SmithRx leaned heavily into interaction and experience. The entire concept felt thoughtful, immersive, and refreshingly human which honestly stood out in the best way throughout the event.

Our team at A Handful of Letters joined SmithRx to provide live engraving and hot foil embossing on-site throughout the conference, personalizing leather luggage tags, journals, tumblers, bar necklaces, and other branded gifting pieces in real time.And almost immediately, the line started forming.

What made this event especially fun for us was that this was actually our third activation with SmithRx in different markets, so attendees who had experienced previous events were already telling coworkers and friends to stop by the booth before we had even fully settled in!

People kept coming back throughout the day with someone new… “Wait, you HAVE to get one of these.”

That kind of reaction is always the best sign that an activation is genuinely connecting with people instead of simply existing in the background of a conference floor.

The atmosphere around the booth stayed busy pretty much the entire event. Guests gathered around watching initials being embossed into leather journals and engraved onto tumblers while talking through fonts, placement, and gifting choices with us one-on-one.
