I’m Valentina, an Orlando calligrapher and engraver specializing in luxury handwritten pieces, custom invitations and signage for weddings, brand activations and special events in Miami, Tampa, West Palm Beach and nationwide. I’ve had the honor of working with luxury event planners and agencies, as well as brands such as Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Tag Heuer, Moet, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus, just to name a few!
I like to describe the art of calligraphy as elegant, enchanting and personal, as well as an experience that allows me to capture my clients’ essence and translate into words forever, while allowing them to connect with their loved ones in an intentional and non-traditional way! I take pride in my attention to detail, professionalism and unique selection of delicate paper goods and elegant wedding invitations, show-stopping envelopes, and romantic engraved fragrances and liquors. I strive to deliver a-nothing-less than perfect experience and products my client’s will cherish for years to come!
I also discovered my passion for teaching through my business and I’m now lucky enough to educate fellow creative souls on how to learn (and use) calligraphy in their daily life!

I started A Handful Of Letters in 2019 out of my inexplicable love for letters and the need to create. I never considered myself a creative person or thought that my newly found skill would ever see the light of day, but after a few months of practicing and learning from renowned calligraphers across the world, I realized I needed to share my love for this beautiful art with the world! Over the past few years, what started as a fun hobby has grown into my full-time business and I now provide calligraphy and engraving services for couples and businesses who value the personal, yet luxury touch of handmade pieces!
When I’m not doing calligraphy or engraving for brands, you can find me chasing pink sunsets and pretty flowers, traveling, hiding behind a camera, doodling on random things or cuddling with my fur babes #catmom!

I majored in Political Science and growing up, I always wanted to be a judge — I know, nowhere near as fun as the pretty letters.
Although I currently live in Florida and nothing beats a floridian sunset, I can't. stand. the. heat., so if you were to offer me a weighted blanket, an unlimited supply of chewy brownies and peppermint tea, I’d move to Alaska in a heartbeat!
I’m a proud member of International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) as well as the Scribes of Central Florida, Friends of Calligraphy and Society of Scribes Guilds.
